1. A failed archaeological tourist attraction which cost £4 million to build has been put up for sale for £150,000.
Archaeolink Prehistory Park, at Oyne, Aberdeenshire, opened in 1997 but closed in 2011 after the local authority withdrew its funding.
The site had celebrated ancient peoples and the culture of the northeast of Scotland.
Shepherd Chartered Surveyors is handling the sale of the visitor centre and called the building a “unique development opportunity”.
Shona Boyd, from Shepherd, suggested that the potential uses could include hospitality, events, distilling, arts or industrial storage.
