Poland vs Scotland prediction

Poland have -6 goal difference while Scotland only have a -2 GD, which gives them a chance of overtaking Croatia with a win, provided they also lose to Portugal.

Poland do sit above Scotland in the group though despite being on the same points with a worse GD, but a better head to head record.

Poland’s injury-struck team stood no chance on Friday away to Portugal who won 5-1 having won the reverse fixture last month 3-1.

They’re conceding plenty of goals in the Nations League and that shouldn’t stop against Scotland, who only lost 3-2 in September at home.

Two of Poland’s goals came from penalties including the decisive winner scored in the 97th minute.

Scotland dominated the ball in that game and should have a better chance of things this time around and are the better price to win.

Poland vs Scotland betting tips

Billy Gilmour and Scott McTominay scored in the reverse fixture both times to level the scores.

McTominay also opened the scoring against Portugal in September, before they lost that game again in the closing stages.

They drew 0-0 with Portugal last month but turned around their winless streak on Friday beating Croatia 1-0.

John McGinn netted late on to give them the winner with them a man to the good after Petar Sucic was sent off just before half time.

Middlesbrough’s Ben Doak was the eye-catcher that game with a great performance and should be involved once more in the starting XI as a result.

These players should make the difference tonight and could play out a crucial victory for Scotland.

Robert Lewandowski, Jan Bednarek, Bartosz Bereszynski and Sebastian Szymanski are all likely to be out of the squad again tonight where Scotland can capitalise.
