Officials confirmed for Scotland’s Autumn Nations Series
Gregor Townsend’s team begin their campaign against Fiji at Scottish Gas Murrayfield on November 2, and Welshman Craig Evans will be in charge for that match.
England’s Christophe Ridley will be in the middle when the back-to-back world champions South Africa come calling the following weekend, while Japanese official Takehito Namekawa has been given the clash with Portugal on November 18.
The four-match series for the senior side concludes with Joe Schmidt’s Wallabies in Edinburgh, and Ireland’s Chris Busby will take charge of that match.
The night before that encounter, a Scotland ‘A’ team will play Chile at Hive Stadium. The match will be refereed by Italian Gianluca Gnecchi.
Meanwhile, Hollie Davidson and Sam Grove-White will fly the flag for Scotland next month, with both set to take charge of two matches.
Davidson will referee USA vs Tonga in Chambery on November 16 before taking charge of the world’s number one ranked team, Ireland, against Fiji at the Aviva Stadium on November 23.
She will be in familiar company in Dublin, with fellow Scots Sam Grove-White and Mike Adamson due to be part of the officiating team.
Grove-White has been named as one of the assistant referees, with Adamson acting as television match official (TMO).
Adamson will perform the same duty for Italy’s clash with Argentina, while Grove-White also has two refereeing appointments next month.
He will take charge of Romania vs Canada in Bucharest and Portugal vs Canada, at a venue still to be confirmed, with Ru Campbell named as an assistant for the latter clash.

“With a new match officiating strategy and high-performance system, deeper collaboration across unions and competitions, the evolution is reflected in this selection.”
