A-Leagues icon completes Scotland transfer after ‘a lot of interest from all over the world’

Josh Nisbet has officially joined Scottish Premiership side Ross County.

The A-Leagues icon has signed a three-year deal with the top-flight club in Scotland following his historic treble-winning season with Central Coast Mariners in 2023-24.

Nisbet – the 2023-24 Isuzu UTE A-League Johnny Warren Medallist – was available on a free transfer after leaving champions Central Coast.

“Joshua is a really exciting addition to the group,” said manager Don Cowie.

“He had an exceptional season last season, winning both team and individual accolades which has resulted in him breaking into the Australian national team.

“There has been a lot of interest in Joshua from all over the world but we are absolutely delighted that he has chosen to join the Staggies for the next steps in his career.”

Ross County have drawn their opening two matches of the season in Scotland’s top flight.

They visit giants Rangers on Sunday (AEST).
