AN AIRLINE has announced exciting new routes from Scotland to a top European destination.

Emerald airlines, the exclusive operator of Aer Lingus Regional, has announced an expansion of one of its Scots services from next month.

Aberdeen passengers can enjoy even more convenient access to Dublin with up to two flights per day beginning in September.

Aer Lingus Regional will operate up to two daily flights on key days of the week—Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday—enabling more Scots to enjoy weekend getaways to the Irish capital.

For those looking to explore more of Ireland during their stay, Aer Lingus Regional also provides a twice daily service from Dublin Airport to the Northwest of Ireland, Donegal.

The region has been voted the most scenic landing strip in the world, this one is not to miss.

The Aberdeen-Dublin route will facilitate onward connectivity from Aberdeen to North America; New York, Boston, Chicago, Washington D.C., San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Philadelphia, and Toronto.

Passengers flying into the US can avail of US Immigration Pre-clearance at Dublin Airport, skipping any lengthy immigration queues stateside.

Commenting on the announcement, Ian Lough, Head of Commercial at Emerald Airlines said: “Reflecting customer demand, we are delighted to be increasing our services between Aberdeen and Dublin.

“Passengers will now have access to even more convenient timings, allowing for greater choice and flexibility in their travel plans.

“Whether it’s for business or leisure, our increased frequency ensures that passengers can visit Ireland with ease, year-round.”
