Premier Sports launching The Scottish Football Social Club

This weekend Premier Sports will broadcast the first of 20 live and exclusive matches from the Scottish Premiership this season. It marks the start of a five season deal with the SPFL to screen matches from the country’s top men’s league.

Tony Docherty’s Dundee side will welcome Steven Naismith’s Hearts team to the Scot Foam Stadium at Den’s Park in an intriguing early season encounter. Dundee come into the match on the back of an opening day 2-2 derby draw to city rivals Dundee United, while Hearts welcomed Rangers to Tynecastle in an entertaining stalemate.

Match commentary will be provided by Rory Hamilton and Michael Stewart, while presenter Connie McLaughlin will host guests Alan Hutton and Charlie Mulgrew as they analyse all the key talking points from the game.

Premier Sports are offering Scottish football fans an annual subscription for a discounted £99 on Sky or the Premier Sports streaming service, enabling fans to follow their club in all three club competitions; the Scottish Premiership, Premier Sports Cup and the Scottish Cup. The offer is available on Sky and Premier Sports streaming platforms only until August 31st. It is open to new and returning customers.

Premier Sports has also announced the launch of a new Scottish Football programme called The Scottish Football Social Club which will be broadcast live on Monday evenings on Premier Sports’ YouTube/X channels. The discussion show will be hosted by Darrell Currie, who will be joined by popular Scottish football personalities to analyse all the key talking points of the previous week’s action. The show will be repeated on Tuesdays at 12.00 and 22.00 on Premier Sports 1 or 2.
