1. Dozens of workers are facing an uncertain future after a renowned architectural services firm went into administration.
Charles Henshaw & Sons was founded in 1904 and specialises in facades and glazing systems for buildings. It has worked on the Usher Hall and Harvey Nichols in Edinburgh as well as Queen Street Station and the University of Glasgow. Its conservation skills have also been used for sculptures such as Greyfriars Bobby in Edinburgh and the Eros statue in London’s Piccadilly.
