It could be the biggest result for Steve Clarke as manager of the nation and the players have been welcomed by their home support in Stuttgart.

It would be the first time in 12 attempts that the Scotland national team will have progressed to the second stage of a major finals tournament.

And the Tartan Army has been in great spirits since the opening night of the Euros and have been commended by German city chiefs and supporters.

An award will be given to the Scotland national team as a sign of appreciation of the Scottish supporters.
