Arc-Tech (Scotland) makes series of promotions
Building services provider Arc-Tech (Scotland) has made a series of promotions this spring with a new appointment to their board of directors and senior management team.
Andrew Halliday originally joined the Glasgow-based business in 2022 as commercial manager and within six months, was promoted to the role of commercial director. He has now officially been appointed to the Arc-Tech (Scotland) board of directors and will preside over commercial operations alongside managing director, John Gallacher, to support the firm’s ongoing expansion across the country.
John Gallacher said: “Andrew has been a major asset to Arc-Tech since joining us two years ago and his promotion is to the board of directors in such a short space of time is testament to his hard work and dedication.
“We have another very busy financial year ahead and I look forward to working with him as we plot a course for the future of the company alongside our much-valued technical teams and contracts staff.”
Arc-Tech’s second promotion is the appointment of Stephen Kane to the role of operations manager. Stephen, formerly a senior project manager, has been with Arc-Tech for just over a year. His day-to-day role will be to support site-based operations across Arc-Techs Industrial / Commercial Mechanical and Electrical installations.
John Gallacher added: “Stephen brings a wealth of experience to the OM role; it is a significant title within our business as it covers the extent of our contracts activities across the country but I have every confidence in him, as will all of our staff.
“On behalf of the entire Arc-Tech team, I wish both Andrew and Stephen the very best in the months and years ahead.”
