Scotland Euro 2024 kits revealed by Adidas with tartan twist
The home and away kits Scotland will wear at Euro 2024 have been revealed by Adidas, both with a tartan twist.
Steve Clarke’s side are heading to Germany for the summer tournament to face the hosts, Switzerland and Hungary after a successful qualifying campaign.
The Scots saw off Spain and Norway in a group campaign that saw Clarke’s side finish second behind La Roja.
Now Adidas, the official sponsor of Scotland’s kits, has unveiled the home and away jerseys to be used at the summer tournament.
The home jersey features a “modernised tartan graphic” with the classic deep blue of Scotland.
Yellow stripes can be seen down the side of the kit and a gold design around the collar.
Announcing the Scotland kits, adidas said: “An immense passion rings throughout the nation of Scotland, which has been injected into the home design via a modernized tartan graphic and dark blue base that speaks to its heritage – finished with captivating geometric shapes.”
Sam Handy, vice president of product and design at adidas said: “The national shirt is the visual symbol that binds a nation together, as its team looks to deliver moments for fans that will last a lifetime.
“With this, the shirt represents so much more than sport – it represents unity, it represents a passion that connects us, and it represents an identity that is celebrated at its highest during an international tournament.
“We bind this emotion and energy by nodding to the intrinsic DNA of each federation, topped with bold new looks, which fans can wear proudly, both in the stands and on the streets this summer.”
The jersey will be first worn in a friendly match with the Netherlands on Friday, March 22.
Pedro Martinez Losa’s Scotland women’s side will first pull on this strip when their UEFA EURO 2025 qualifying campaign begins in April.
The adidas Euros kit collection will be available from adidas.com and select retail stores from March 14, 2024 and both are priced at £75 for men and women and £55 for kids.
STV’s coverage of Euro 2024 will begin with the exclusive live broadcast of the opening game as Scotland face Germany at the Allianz Arena.
Matches will also be available on STV Player.
