30 new jobs as fast food giant returns to Scottish shopping centre
The opening will create 30 new jobs in the local community, with KFC saying that new team members will be provided with training and development opportunities to support their career progression.
The restaurant marks KFC’s 55th restaurant in Scotland and follows KFC’s expansion across the UK and Ireland.

The company said it aims to open 500 new restaurants across the country over the next decade, a move that is set to create more than 20,000 jobs.
James Whitehorn, Chief Development Officer at KFC UK & Ireland, said: “We’re thrilled to be welcoming customers back to our brand-new restaurant at the redeveloped St. Enoch Centre, complete with new order points and upgraded facilities to help us deliver the ultimate KFC experience for our fried chicken fans. We want to say a huge ‘thank you’ to everyone who has played a part in bringing our new restaurant to life, and we can’t wait for you all to meet the team when we re-open our doors very soon!”
